I understand that there are different causes of Vertigo. I had it pretty intense a couple of years ago. It would strike when I was lying down and turned my head suddenly. this caused the room to spin very fast. Like a roulette wheel. It was disturbing.
I was told it was due to calcium build up in my ear canal causing my GPS gyro thing to get stuck. (Technical terms elude me.) I attended Vestibular Rehabilitation in Physical Therapy for six months. It helped a lot. Meanwhile, the prescription medications I was given made it worse.
I've had Cranial Sacral Therapy for other reasons. Like Cheryl says below, it could very well help reduce symptoms, depending on the cause of your Vertigo.
I wish you all the best, Bill, in your search for a solution to this problem. It can be a very uncomfortable one to deal with.
