Massage, Proper Stretching, Good water intake and a Balanced diet. It sounds like an old nagging injury and inflammation of that area on your Hamstring muscles or your Hamstring tendon is inflamed from inadequate nutrition. Sugar is the cause of this and I had the same issue. When I balanced my diet and cut sugars out the pains disappeared quickly. Plus I do get regular massages too. I suggest proper diet and massage therapy!
I just started using it myself and have seen it work better for a few clients. My takeaway is that it has a faster onset of action so it's nice for folks whose insulin peaks are off with meals. So for those clients (or for yourself!) where you see spikes after a meal but it looks like the timing is just off vs. the amount of insulin the Fiasp can be helpful because of it's faster onset of action! I use an insulin pump so haven't notice a huge shift as far as my basal rates (yet). Let us know how it goes!
The only way to lose fat is to burn it with proper diet and exercise. We use Ideal Protein and see 3-5 weight loss per week with no muscle loss. Here in Naples Fl at AHHC
Could be the yeast?
I think that sticking to a training schedule is so important! I used the book Running Your First Marathon by Andrew Kastor and found it to be very helpful. Not only did it have a detailed 20 week training plan, it also provided tips on nutrition, mindset and recovery.
I use the CRA ovary cyst protocol and have seen great success.
Collinsonia root is very good
Mike, It's more than likely you have received a concussion be it minor. Your best bet would be to find a CranioSacral therapist in your area to make sure all that cerebral spinal fluid around your brain is still keeping that fascia lubricated and doing it's job.
CranioSacral therapy is a gentle hands on body work that can really do some amazing things. It changed my like and so I decided to become one. ;) If you can't find one on here that is in your area look on Upledger.com under find a therapist
You're going to love it! Make sure you bring a change of clothes (i.e. shorts, socks) as some places supply clothing to change into...others do not. Enjoy!
Meditation, grounding, and self-exploration can be a powerful tool in understanding the root cause of your stress.
When the body sets out to decide what to carry forward in life, priority is given to what serves our physical well-being. What few of us understand is how carefully cigarettes are designed to break the bond between body and mind. While breathing slowly through a tube does provide some overall calming benefit, nicotine deadens our nerve endings and forces blood flow to our brain. Cigarettes also contain sugar, which gives a selfish brain a quick jolt while starving the rest of the body of nutrition.
Of course, that selfishness comes back to bite the brain later in life. Smoking is one of the primary predictors of cognitive decline.
Smoking cessation is a classic application of hypnotherapy, but “single session” programs rarely rebuild the collaboration between body and mind. I can guide you to that conclusion, helping to undo the damage done by cigarettes while stimulating the body to preserve the parts of the mind that bring deeper engagement with the world. Your most important relationship is your relationship with yourself. If you have allowed cigarettes to disrupt it, hypnotherapy can help rebuild those bridges.
Dr Gundry is a big fan of a Lectin free diet. There are also some supplements on the market that help you digest foods with lectin in them.
I throw fresh cut aloe into my morning smoothy. Can't even taste it.
I look at the source: is the product a food-source nutrient or is it made of synthetic vitamins and minerals comparable to rocks and elemental metal? Comparatively speaking they are few, but there are several companies (such as Garden of Life, Megafood, and New Chapter brands, etc.) that produce supplement products that contain nutrients that have either been actually extracted out of plants, or that have been created using a special culturing process. When we consume supplements that are not food form, then we can actually cause stress to the body as it works to eliminate the nutrients that are not bio-available. On the other hand, if we take supplements that are food-form or food-source, then they will be easily assimilated and utilized by the system.
I would definitely recommend seeing an alternative practitioner such as a naturopath, health coach, or holistic skin care expert. I struggled with acne for over a decade and tried every treatment under the sun with no success. What finally worked for me was changing my diet and lifestyle. The root cause of acne comes from within, so typically determining the root cause and making some significant changes is much more effective than any topical treatment ever will be.
I would think that a holistic practitioner could be beneficial for you. An in depth evaluation can help reveal why you cannot sit for normal periods of time. Are you in pain? Are you "antsy"? More information can help you get the answers for which you seek.
My spa just installed a salt wall in their sauna and it's beautiful. I've only sat in there once so far but I honestly didn't know this was a thing. Does anyone have an article or study?
Moringa is an amazing superfood! It's packed with good nutrients including vitamins, minerals, calcium, protein, and potassium, helps fight inflammation (which we all have!), supports brain health and cardiovascular health, helps reduce blood sugar, fights free radicals (which cause cell damage and inflammation) among other benefits. You can use it as a powder in a smoothie or protein shake or drink it as a tea.
definitely find some bars or non-perishable snacks that you like that align with your diet choice (I always carry a few of my healthier protein bar choices on trips eg RX bars, nuGO bars, Orgain bars, etc). also do some research on restaurant options in the area you'll be traveling to to find options that may meet your needs, what options may be available for complimentary breakfast, and whether or not your hotel has a refrigerator. If there is a fridge in the room, stop and get some healthier perishable snacks/meals that you can keep in the room if you don't feel like eating a meal out
Work on cadence and strike point during training. Your timing is also in need of checking. If you can send me a photo of you standing with views from four postitions I can help you more. Also checke in to some psoaz muscle exercises.
