Take 5 deep breaths and tune into yourself, the weather, and what is in the space of your emotions. Decide to acknowledge what is and accept it (not identify with it, but accept it), then let go and allow a word to emerge that will shape how you will choose to be throughout the day. It could be peace, or love, or clear. This is a powerful morning practice that can transform your day.

Holistic Integrative-Nutrition Functional-Medicine Practitioner - I help you discover why you have that discomfort and how to resolve the root cause(s). My work is based on scientific health/wellness principles supported by clinical research/evidence.

While there are many things that can cause bloating, you've started a great approach to finding your culprit (by identifying when it starts). Next step is to compare the days you feel more bloat with days you feel less or no bloat, and see if you can pinpoint culprits (which may be foods or anxiety or lack of restful sleep, etc.). For me, I found that too much coffee and any of certain grains cause me to bloat. But every body is different. So try to compare your good and not-good days to find your triggers, perhaps keeping notes for a couple weeks to look back and analyze.

I'm new to DaoCloud. I am a hypnotist, Reiki Master, and Qigong instructor. All of these are great for relieving stress and keeping it from building up. If you are still looking for ways to keep the edge off, I'd love it if you contacted me or just come to my Qigong class on Thursday evenings at 7 PM at 168 Robinson Street, the former rectory of the former Ascension Church. Your first class is free! Qigong is energy work, consisting of gentle and easy movements that activate acupoints on the body - acupuncture without the needles. My students also find that it clears their minds, and we deliberately release stress and negative emotions from our bodies and our minds. I'll add an article on this topic soon as well. I hope you are feeling better!

Well being is experiential, not abstract. Awareness Through Movement allows you to outsmart pain and experience the pleasure of your body being all connected.

No, you are not sleeping too much. People sleep all different amounts, and it can be anywhere between 4 - 10 hours a day, and it doesn't have to be all at the same time.

If you are not feeling energized, that may be due to something else. Look elsewhere.

I recommend taking moments throughout the day to be mindful. These can be scheduled at first, you can even set alarms in your phone, until these mindful breaks become a habit. These breaks can be anything from 2 minutes of conscious breathing, a walk outside, a check in with your feelings and needs, or perhaps just a moment of silence and reflection. A simple, "how am I doing today?" will allow you to be mindful. I also recommend aligning your mind, body, and soul as much as possible. Closing your eyes and focusing on your senses...what you are hearing, seeing, smelling, tasting, and feeling in the moment can bring you back into your body.

BETTER FOOD, BETTER MOOD We'll help you connect the dots.

Hi Maxwell - Crohn's disease is an inflammatory condition of the digestive tract and can affect any part from the mouth to the anus. So its important to remove ALL inflammatory foods - specially gluten and soy. Most soy available is non organic, and GMO and therefore comes with high risk of toxic inflammation. Soy proteins are a known allergen and are best avoided. Try liquid coconut aminos next time - they are a delicious substitute for soy sauce or source organic non GMO soy & soy sauce if you need to.

When you are hypnotized it's much like being in a meditative state, the only difference is that the therapist is the one helping you get to that relaxed state, much like a guided meditation. But at any state you can just open your eyes. Some states are deeper, but there is nothing a person will do or be controlled to that he or she would not do without being hypnotized.
Also, there is a big difference between stage hypnosis and clinical hypnosis. If you volunteer to go on stage and play along, you will be a perfect subject whether hypnotized or not.
In a clinical, therapeutic environment, we only work with positive and healthy changes and mindset. Who doesn't like that.

Remember Your Greatness! Beautiful journeyer, are you ready for your next step in your awakening journey- to feel happy for no reason, to open your awareness, and to grow in unconditional love?

Yes, it can. When someone is challenged with a leaky gut they are not absorbing all the nutrients from the food they are eating. So you can be deficient in essential vitamin and minerals that support ease and calm in your body. There are supplements that can begin to heal the gut along with a special diet for a while. When you get on a leaky gut healing program my guess is that your anxiety will start to cease. All the best.

Excellent observation! Yes some foods do contribute to brain fog. But not because those foods are 'foggy' by themselves, they are dense, heavy foods like sweets, dairy or excess fats. However it is because they are adding to an existing state of 'fog' or heaviness in the body or mind, or 'ama', accumulated toxins in Ayurvedic terms. This shows up as a lack of clarity, confusion and demotivation.
Or the brain may be hyperstimulated, stressed and forgetful, then it needs calming, and a different set of supportive foods. It all depends on the current state of imbalance being experienced by the body.
And yes, it can be healed.

Namaste!

I always sang but never played a musical instrument until I turned 55, when I started taking clarinet lessons, having always loved that instrument's woody sound. I swiftly recognized that at least at that age, I did not have the finger dexterity for clarinet virtuosity. I also realized that I actually preferred low tones to high tones and harmony to melody: voila, I switched to the BASS clarinet, whose parts are simpler (as usually are the parts of larger instruments.) 19 years later. I now play my bass clarinet with the local university's Symphonic Band and clarinet choir. Playing music with others is one of the great joys of my life. It includes aspects of the creative, the physical, the mental, the social, and the breath. I heartily recommend that one take up an instrument AT ANY AGE. It will help to keep you ageless!

Knowing that you need to reboot yourself is a great start. For my clients, cleaning up the diet, power leaking emotional states, and getting into shape are all steps in the reboot. It starts with the awareness, then there is a commitment, and the focus and follow-through are the keys in transforming their lives. It is really a wake up call to get back to YOU!

Here are a few things to consider: The vaccines itself are not the harmful substance, it is the solution they are made stable in that contains Neuro toxins. You can call the pediatrician and request vaccine without the stabilizing solution, just the vaccine. They can order that. There are people that do not want to give vaccines and I am slightly bias. I think certain selective vaccines are good to prevent spreading of a particular disease but I am very selective. I do not consider Tetanus, HPV, or chicken pox necessary. In fact if you get chicken pox as adult it has much worse consequences. The vaccine is not a 100% preventative of the disease anyway. Oh and never let them vaccinate when the kiddo is sick. My first born, they vaccinated into an upcoming cold and he got full blown symptomology of Pertussis for 6 weeks and was only 5 months old. With a year he had his first asthmatic bronchitis. He is luckily fine now and not on any meds.

Hey! My name is Laura Weiner-Kiser and my life purpose is to help people create a bridge between where they are and where they want to be in their health and life desires.

That is a loaded question. There's lots that go into it. Understanding your specific body needs is very complicated. Every body is unique and has its own compass to guide you to know what's best for it. The problem is we've been taught to ignore the signals and we try to think it instead of feeling what's best. Understanding the digestive system and how it prefers to work is important. A common misconception is around our internal environment. Meaning what's going on inside, how are our hormones fluctuating, which nervous system are we in. This is influenced by our mental state. So if you're constantly stressed, you will activate a specific nervous system branch which makes it very hard to lose weight. I have a free guide called Nutrition 101, if you want me to send it to you please message me where to send it.

Make a list of the types of activities that bring you enjoyment. You can even think back to when you were a child and the types of things you liked to do. Getting outside to hike or run, making a date to take a class with a friend, volunteering in some way and being of service to others. I suggest making that list so when you are in the moment and your mind goes blank, you can refer to the list and make plans.
