Indeed, your Lymphatic System aka internal "invisible shower", is sadly neglected in anatomy lessons and in general medicine. That is due to the disappearance within 4 hours of death, of the many teeny capillaries that are pathways of lymphatic fluid, transporting immune components into and throughout the body's tissue and carrying wastes and toxins out. Since most medical studies are on cadavers, we only "see" the larger ducts, nodes and lymphoid tissue of this very complex and permeating system, which includes over 850 lymph nodes, several large ducts, as well as the recently discovered Lymphatic Meningeal Vessel, which is the foundation of the glymphatic system, which is cleansing the brain during sleep. WHAT CAN WE DO TO HELP IT MOBILIZE? The best way to affect its natural process, is to replicate the oceanic rhythm of any Body of Water, and use pulsing, gentle, stretching circles, which begins to open the pathways in between the fascial layers. Scars, adhesions, tight garments, will all IMPEDE the movement of lymph fluid. If you have old injuries, surgeries, or odd swelling, congestion, puffiness, in any part of your body, that indicates STAGNANT LYMPH. If it is extreme, it can be lymphedema, which needs ongoing medical treatment. If it is moderate, or comes & goes, as in indigestion gas, bloating, headaches, fibromyalgia, MS, CFS, lyme, or other inflammatory disorders, LYMPH MASSAGE CAN DEFINITELY HELP! Wild Diet is simply a diet made from fresh seasonal healthy whole foods from plants and animals, consumed as close to its natural form as possible. So yes, close to being a paleo style if you are not looking to be a vegan. Historically around the globe no native diet was true vegan -- in every region around the world the natives ate some form of animal products. Wild diet shuns agricultural produce -- whether plant based or animal origin. Processed foods have no place in this kind of a diet -- so no grains - whole or processed. No refined sugars. Think hunter gatherer style of eating -- whats available around you in nature and what is not cultivated on a farm or manufactured in a factory.
Find a park with a gradual decline to it (not more than 15 degrees), Mark your sprinting distance and sprint 20 times up it. On the 20th trip up you stop at the other end. Stretch your legs and run 10 sprints down hill. This will both build your muscles in your legs and lengthen them to teach your legs how to turn over faster so you do not fall on your face. It go me from a 5.5 sec, 40 yard dash to a 4.85 sec, 40 in one summer back in the day when I played football.
Trials have shown that ashwagandha:
Improves physical performance, reduces cortisol response to physical stress, prevents stress-induced ulcers, prevents leucocytosis, and has anabolic properties to increase healthy body mass. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3252722/
Improves results from resistance training and raises testosterone in males doing resistance training. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6266766/?log$=activity
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4658772/
Improves cardiorespiratory endurance in healthy athletic adults. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4687242/?log$=activity
Improves thyroid function in subclinical hypothyroid patients: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/28829155?log$=activity
Improves memory and cognitive function in patients with mild cognitive impairment. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/28471731?log$=activity
Improves testosterone levels in aging, overweight males: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6438434/
Just to scratch the surface and name a few of ashwagandha's actions.
For many people, starchy foods cause acid reflux. I know it seems backwards, but that is the case for me and many other people I know. Carrie's suggestion of a journal or log is an excellent one so you can find out what triggers acid reflux for you.
Another approach is to try food elimination. Try avoiding starchy foods, including bread, pasta, cereal, potatoes, and rice. Try it for a week and see how you feel. If that did not work, try eliminating another kind of food, such as the nightshade family (tomatoes, potatoes, peppers, eggplant) which causes many people digestive problems.
My last thought is you really want to find out the cause of your acid reflux. Don't just automatically take antacids UNLESS the appropriate tests have been done to find the cause. Acid reflux can be caused by too much stomach acid, then acid reducing approaches are appropriate. But acid reflux can also be caused by too LITTLE stomach acid. In that case, the cure is to increase your stomach acid (I had to do this, using lemon and lime juice as digestive aids). You can see that you really want to know the cause so you do not take the wrong approach for a cure.
It is also possible that your stomach cramps are not acid reflux and the cure is something else altogether. So finding out the source of the problem really is important.
What is MCS? is it a medical condition or something else?
I recommend Mayo Clinic "Guide to Fibromyalgia", Strategies To Take Back Your Life.
It does not sound like you have fibromyalgia just because you have some back issues and mood issues, but you may still be interested in learning more about your persistent pains. Look at your lifestyle, and perhaps you can find some clues there that can help you as well.
Hello, and Congratulations. What an amazing heart. My husband was amazing support for me. He would cook dinner when he could tell I had a long day. He would massage my feet softly which I loved. He always told me how beautiful I was as my belly grew and he would talk to our unborn child and read stories to him. I know that if you ask her she would gladly share with you each day what she is needing help with because each day is going to be different. I wish you two the best on this wonderful journey.
It is really important to rule out a urinary tract/bladder infection with these symptoms. Your doctor can order a urinalysis to check for infection. If there is no infection, then it will be important to look at other causes for pain and frequency, which can include a number of possibilities, including but not limited to inflammatory disorders, food allergies, musculoskeletal or nerve issues, kidney stones and more.
Wim Hof seems to be useful and trending. If you're into essential oils, I would recommend a blend called Breathe. Fantastic for respiratory supported.

Freud first came to the study of the unconscious mind through studying the effects of hypnosis. He did not care for the hypnosis of his day so he developed free association as a method of accessing the unconscious causes of neurotic symptoms. This method takes a long time and it is difficult to test experimentally.
(The developer of modern, conversational hypnosis was Dr. Milton Erickson. This is a more permission type of hypnosis that has found positive effects for many.)
But the main focus of Freud's is that the there is an unconscious mind as reveled in our dreams and in other ways. While therapists today may not subscribe to all of what Freud had to say, many accept the idea that the unconscious or subconscious mind has a lot to do with what ails people who present a variety of symptoms.
If it's a problem of your airways not being open, in addition to what was already recommended, I would consider using an essential oil blend called Breathe:

Hi! I'm with Dr. Cook on the relationship between physical activity, nutrition and brain health. Mindful movements such as those offered in yoga and meditation practices can also boost brain health. What aspect of learning do you feel gets difficult? Is it maintaining attention for long periods of time? Sometimes a learning experience can be improved through interaction with the material either by discussion with someone else or having some kind of kinesthetic connection to the ideas you are trying to absorb. Learning and absorbing new information is a process so be kind to yourself and learn how to enjoy that process.
Great suggestions already! I also suggest investigating your mattress. Mattresses should be replaced every 7-8 years. If you notice a human sized divot in your mattress, maybe sooner. When shopping for a mattress, usually the most comfortable ones in the store are too soft to spend 7-9 hours laying on at night time. Err towards the firmer mattress as this will provide your spine with more support as you sleep, and can help reduce the need for pillows.
In my opinion no -- it is a powerful binder and you could risk depleting your body of some important minerals. It is a great detoxifying agent and helps bind pathogens and unwanted elements but I wouldn't want to over do it. Imagine being on an antibiotic daily?
In the past when I got a sty I washed my eye with a warm water raw honey mixture. You don’t want the water to be too warm as it can affect the antibacterial properties of the honey. As one of the other responders mentioned, melaleuca is wonderful and you can often find honey with that infused into it. Be sure to switch out all makeup products frequently and of course, use all new after having a sty. The honey mixture also works for pink eye. Stress and inflammation are a huge factor, so reduce caffeine, sugar (all things that turn to sugar like highly processed food), red meat, alcohol and dairy products. Bringing down the stress level on your immune (medicine) system will help your body combat these recurrent infections not only in the eyes but throughout the body. Wishing you good luck with your healing journey!
One of the things going on in us in addition to inflammation is oxidation. Partially burning oxygen makes these things called free radicals ( positively charged oxygen molecules). The largest negatively charged thing that can quench these is the earth. I didn't believe this initially, so I stuck a voltmeter into the ground. It registered a mild negative charge. Earthing allows us to dump free radicals right into the earth, just by sitting, stand or lying on it.
CBD oil does not have THC levels that would get you "high". It is an excellent combination with peppermint essential oil rubbed right on the forehead for headaches.
What got me started with using essential oils was the need to support my body through seasonal allergies and inflammation. I did so with Lemon, Lavender, and Peppermint essential oil. I didn't change my diet other than I slowed by dairy consumption, and was not taking any OTC drugs or prescriptions.
I had my mercury all removed over 25 years ago. I did not notice a change in my health because I was not having health problems, I was already clean eating and working out. I'm glad that I had them removed when I did -- before any potential health issues.
